I literally laughed out loud when I first saw the post. I can't quite describe why it's so good - the closest I get is the 'double fuck you' aspect - one to the show, one to himself.
Good for you Sid, stand up to the man.

Yup! Didn't you hear the latest internet scuttlebutt? The Rockstar shows were actually a secret project initiated by the Canadian government to get rid of our homeless singers. Mark Burnett (and a fellow member of the Commonwealth) was in on the plot from the begining. Sorry Dilana.

Shall we parse?

"waited" - I never got the sense that you were waiting, but rather taking each moment as it came.

"ten weeks" - wasn't it 11 weeks? And didn't we enjoy our Zayra time? How about Storm? Did you enjoy her? I know I did. It was really only the time since Storm's departure that I've really felt the oppression.

"that???" - by which you mean? The total fuck-up that was Global TV's broadcast, or the fact that Dilana got chosen by Gibly, Jason wondered why Zayra either wouldn't talk to him or hadn't shown up at all, and Tlee shoved his tongue into Lukas' ear, marking his territory? All of the above?

Sigh. Mark Burnett could be losing his touch. But I still hope this show is on next summer. And Brooke said, "See you next summer," so I guess it will be.

Unless she's making plans to market baby wear on QVC.

Thanks for a great season of blogs.

Oh goodness, Sid, I near about spit into the keyboard when I laughed at this post.

Damn, you're good when you can crack us up with only one sentence! ;-)

Sid: Summer is made for waiting. I'll be in the backseat of my car until next June.

Damn, I can't believe I wasted time coming up with 2000 useless words when, if I was smart enough, I could have summed it all up in one sentence, like you did.

Bastard!

Moist, your 2000 words were so rip-roaringly funny, that I couldn't start quoting my favorite bits. Don't stop blogging, either of you

Yes, you did, along with the rest of us pathetic morons. I need to get a life.

Although doesn't "Survivor: The Non-PC Season" start tonight?

As for me i think Lukas will do a fantastic job at fronting the band. He was the best out of all of the alos so was Magni. I don't think Dilana could of handled the task of fronting the band. I watch every episode and i waited all this time to see my man Lukus win. Great Job he did.

I logged on thinking, well, crap, I'm not going to really have time to read Sid's post before I have to pick up young one from school, but maybe I'll skim it quickly. Plate o' shrimp!

Admit it, you loved every nose numbing, spine deadening moment of the greatest rock n roll show that never was!

: )

This isn't the only time I've heard that you finished something fast.

LOL. Couldn't peg it any better than that.

Who watches that anyway? NO NO NO--do not answer that! I'm covering my ears and starting the lalalalala song so I can't hear. I don't want to know.

STOOPID reality shows.

I'm the only one waiting for the other half of this blog, with the now-traditional "That was AWESOME, dude" made famous by Dave "Gimme Back My Corset Now, Bitch" Gayvarro.
